February Schedule

Today I'm staying home so I can hopefully get a ton of work done.  Unfortunately my printer is out of magenta ink so I can't print anything(even though I don't need magenta, just black!!)  Here is part of the e-mail I sent to my scrap class girls and I thought I'd post it here too.

Here's my schedule of the classes I’m doing in February:

Class at home:

The class at my home is going to be a Valentines album.  It has lots of fun embellishments and will be a great project to work on. The date for this album February 21st and we'll start around 6:30pm.

Class at It’s About Time:

The class at It’s About Time is going to be a “dollhouse acrylic house album. This class will be on February 28th and will start at 6 or 6:30pm.

Thanks for your continued support!  I appreciate all of you so much and have such a great time when we get together.  It means so much to me that you like my designs and continue to want to take my classes!  I am so excited that CHA is less than two weeks away!!!!  I’m busy getting ready for that, so pray that I can get all my work done by then and everyone will like my work!

Getting ready for CHA...

Busy, busy with all that I want to get accomplished before CHA.  I also have a class this coming Thursday that is taking a lot of my time to get ready for.  I really wish I had a whole day to devote to creating samples for my portfolio!  I'm starting to feel like I won't be ready...  I still need to get the website and this blog up and running, buy business cards and now I'd really like to get a video put up that shows a demonstration from a class project.   I'm so excited about this new chapter in my "scrapbooking" life and I can't wait to see what the future holds.  I just need to stay focused and pray that I will have everything together and that the people I show my work to will love it!

First blog....

Ok. Don't know anything about blogs but here goes...

I signed up for this blog over a week ago and have been afraid to start.  I'm finally to the point where I'm just going to start writing and see what happens.  I see all these great looking blogs out there and when I set this up I guess I was expecting to see more from it.  I will try really hard to take some time and learn the art of "blogging."  I went onto iStockphoto and found some really cool images for my website and this blog so hopefully with the help of my really cute computer geek husband, we can figure out how to make this blog cool too!

Well, I'm going to finish this first post and see what happens...  Stay tuned!
