A Kiss on the Chic

Yeah, it's Friday!!

Anybody else excited it's the weekend??  I don't know about you, but I am tired of the kids school schedule... When is it Summer? This week has been non-stop "mom I need this" or "mom, I need you to buy this for my class" or "can you take me here"  or "I need to be at school early"...  yikes...   no complaints though.. my girls are the BEST!  I am so blessed to have happy, healthy girls who are trying to be Godly little girls as well... (and that's not easy in this day and age :)-

So I've been running around today as fast as I can to get my car smogged, check out a few antique stores in town for some items... all I got was this:

not what I wanted but always need for the kits so not bad...

What I'm LOOKING for is old board games (have an idea for them :), old cupcake pan, the small picture postcards in b&w (for my INSPIRED class) and old bottle caps... I guess I'll have to look online AND when I go to the Rose Bowl Flea Market!  Can't WAIT to go next month when they have it!  Anyone want to meet me there? I already told my hubby we're going for the day down there the next time they have it but he only lasts for so long...

So what is everyone doing this weekend?

I'm thinking because it's going to be a stormy weekend here in So. Cal, I'm going to go get food supplies for the whole weekend, make a quick run to JoAnns for some fabric and I'm going to hunker down in my craft room!   I have been making flowers like a maniac lately and have another idea I want to play around with...

But I also want to finish up a few things I started a couple days ago... I don't know about you ladies, but I can't ever seem to sit down and finish a project from start to finish... Can you?  I have WAY to many distractions for that...  But eventually I finish them and here's what I want to finish this weekend:

 
A LO I started with the march kit... notice I'm using the Prima Packaging?    Speaking of Prima... came home to another box on my door...

more goodies for the kits!!!  Well the top stuff you see mostly is for this months ( I needed more then I originally ordered) but the stuff underneath... well, you'll just have to wait to see that!  hehehe...

Speaking about Prima... I think Judy and I decided on our May Online Class and baby, it is PRIMA LOADED!!!  (and think Donna Downey :)  Which is cool b/c I'm teaching in May at Donna's INSPIRED so it will really tie in nicely there...  And it will be a Mother's Day type of theme and we're going to try to get my oldest daughter to sit in and do the class with me!  So that will be a FUN class and one you can do with your daughter OR SON!  YES, it's a project that is for ANYONE! and boys will even like it!!  Gotcha thinking don't I??  ;)-

Speaking of my Online Classes... I have almost everything kitted and ready to go!  I'm going to mail out the class kit on March 8th, on the same day I will be mailing out the March kits!  I'm doing that for two reasons... First, I can mail both things together if you are getting a March kit and have bought a class kit and I will adjust your shipping so you don't have to pay twice!  Pretty nice huh??  lol... And Second, because I will be in Arizona filming with Scrapbook.com next week I looked at the calendar and won't have time to get the kits out until the 8th...  So, if you STILL NEED TO SIGN UP FOR THE CLASS, please do so SOON!  I have about 11 people who have bought the kit but didn't sign up the CLASS yet... The other thing I want to finish this weekend is this:

 

This is literally a work in progress.  I simply went out into the garage, ripped off a side flap of a cardboard box, came back inside and tore it to pieces,  put gesso all over it, distressed the Donna Downey canvas paper (in the March kit) and am going to give it some color with paint and paper and I'll share the Tutorial on here next week!  Read the quote if you can, it's so great by Ralph Waldo Emerson.  And check out the Vintage Clothes Pin that a lady stamped for the March kit!  (she did 3 different designs and I'm keeping one of each because I couldn't decide which one I liked best ;)-

man I use WAY too many sideways smiles ;)- lol... has anyone left my blog b/c they can't take it anymore??

OH!!  I totally forgot to show you this... my VERY FIRST CARD!  I've mentioned this before but I just don't make cards... I don't know why, but there is just some force in the universe that was telling me I suck at making cards, so I never got past that... until now!

Ta Da!  My 1st card... 

I embossed the word ADORATION, sprayed Glimmer Mist and then chalked it and added some stuff from the March kit.  not bad huh...

It's probably very basic compared to you REAL card makers... But, I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself for this step I've taken to crush that inner voice telling me I couldn't!  Yes I CAN.... sort of...

Well, I'm off to start the weekend by picking up the kids from school and figuring out their schedules for the weekend.

Ordering and kitting and stuffing... oh my!

Well sorry ladies that I didn't get a chance to come on here yesterday for my Love, Tuesday...

I had the filming on my 1st Online Class yesterday and that took almost the whole day that the girls were in school! (yes, Victoria went to school and had BROWN HAIR :)- I'll tell you more about that later...

So we had fun filming the Online Class and here's a little snippet of what we did:

Today I've had my friend Cindy over and we've been doing ALL kinds of things!  I tell you, I am in the thick of it now!  I have so many classes, kit club, workshops, webisodes to organize, I think I'm going a little cuckoo!!  But Cindy helps me out GREATLY {heart you Cindy} and now even her daughter is helping me out!! 

I am excited about next months kits though and have a few more sneaks to share!!

Not so happy Monday...

So what do you do when your teenager has a MAJOR hair dye problem??

Victoria didn't have school today so we went to Aveda and both got our hair cut and colored...  The only problem is Victoria's turned out a nice shade of MAGENTA!  Yes, seriously...  So they tried to correct it and now it's quite "goolish"....  NOT girlish... GOOLish...as in the kind of color you see a LOT of during Halloween!  So she's been crying and shampooing and crying and shampooing and doesn't want to go back to school for the forseable future... 

Any suggestions??

Oh my and to top that off, today is the day before the filming of my FIRST Online Class and I have a million things to do and was stuck in the salon from 10am to 2:45pm!!  oh dear... 

So needless to say, I haven't gotten anything done today (except I was able to quick grab some grapes, paper plates and eggs while getting the PERT Shampoo at the grocery store)...  OH man, I better not laugh in front of her... she'll shoot daggers at me with her eyes! lol...

O.k. just had to share a little... better get off here before she realizes I'm "blogging" about her!

Here's a couple things I created this weekend:

a birdhouse I'm still in the process of but LOVED the fun ruffle technique I did on the roof! 

all different styles of flowers with burlap, vintage lace (that ones not in this picture), VINTAGE map paper and scrapbook paper...

a house album I've literally had laying around for over a YEAR and finally got out and finished!  This is the project I was working on end of last week that I REALLY got into!  It's a labor of  LOVE for sure and I can't share too much b/c I really want this to be an online class some day...

Tattered Angels!  Aren't these just the cutest things!!  They are the Kit size!  I think they are about 1 or 1.5oz. and they're for the online class!!  I may have a few left over so I will be selling these yummy colors on the March Kit Reveal! 

Which is getting REALLY close!  You want to see some SNEAKS from Norma?? She sent them today while I was at the salon...

That's Norma's hubby, isn't he cute in that batman t-shirt and hat?  Boys just never grow up do they!  I know mine hasn't... and he wants a motorcylce now so that PROVES they don't grow up! lol...

Isn't this so pretty!!  And this is from the SAME kit!  Can you believe you can get sooo many different looks from the same kit?   I'm so excited to be bringing you ladies kits again!!  You're going to LOVE this one!! (and the next one and next one and next one... and I bet you'd LOVE to know what those will be, right??  :)-

Have had such a GREAT long weekend!  I hope all of you enjoyed Valentine's Day and Presidents Day and some time with the family...

We had family time, anniversary time, art time and relax time!

Here's a little of what we've been up to:

Some presents they woke up to on Sunday morning...

Art day yesterday in the backyard!  ( do I dare tell you it was 81 degrees?? :)-

Isabella (and Scarlet) had fun out in the backyard for HOURS... just painting away on her new art easel!  She is such a crafty girl...like her mommy! hehehe...

 I had some time over the weekend to CREATE as well.  If you saw my Valentines post, you saw my new ART JOURNAL.  I'm REALLY getting into this art form and am excited to see where this takes me.  I plan to make a "travel" kit for when we go to Europe this Summer so I can do this on the go...  I'm also trying to schedule a paint class for Isabella somewhere on our trip.  She is just in LOVE with painting and I want to see about having her take a class at Monet's Garden or in Italy somewhere!  Wouldn't THAT be a memory for her!  I've contacted a couple places about it so we'll see... If anyone knows of somewhere she, and I, could take a class that would be VERY helpful!

So here's what I created this weekend:

"Doorway to Italy"

This I actually "scrap-lifted" from this:

I got this in my Prima order... they sent me some copies of samples I'm assuming their DT did... I really liked the idea of the architectural pictures so I decided to do that with all the doors or doorways I took pictures of in Italy!

I printed all the pictures with a white edging and then distressed and inked the edges to give it an aged look...

I "caged in" the bird on the top of this paper...

and added some vintage trims and burlap to continue this "aged" look...  Most of these items will be in the March Kit!!!  

Speaking of March kit...  Here's a SNEAK:

 and a very artsy/altered journal that I made with cardboard and some mini file folder pages that will be in the kit!!  I'm excited to see what my DT ladies do with this kit too!

This isn' from the kit... But, I'm REALLY excited that I've had some time to make some layouts lately!  I'm REALLY behind on my own albums and to have a chance to work on my family albums is really important to me... So I used a past kit (I think one of July's kits) and made this layout of Isabella!  (I added a Homespun Chic button to it :)

Oh, I don't think I've shown you pictures of my upcoming classes!

I know I'm all about pink and red and all girls but I just can't seem to get a kit together that would work for boy pages... Is that critical to any of you?  (I actually think you could do some boy pages with my March kit above if you left out the pink papers though??)  Maybe I'll have my DT work on some BOY pages with the March kit and see what they can come up with...

I really LOVE both and am leaning towards both but I know a lot of other kit clubs will probable be doing the Dear Lizzy line because it's so "hot" right now...  (I can see why though... did you FREAK over the fabric paper like I did?? )

oh yes.... I can't believe it myself!  But, at CHA, the owners of Clear Scraps asked me if I would like to go to Scrapbook.com and film some tutorials/webisodes for their products!  And, since I'm going to be there in early March, I said that would be a good time to film them!  So, that's pretty HUGE huh??  I'm quite nervous and have to start thinking about what I want to do, but I think that's really going to be FUN and hopefully we can do these on a regular basis!

O.k. I've got to get back to ordering...

I probably won't be on here again until Friday.  I REALLY need to get all the ordering done for the next few months AND I need to finish booking all our hotels and such for our family Europe trip this summer... (I know, such a hard thing...lol)  But if I don't do it soon, we will miss out on some things and places we want to see!

Happy Valentine's Day...

I hope you all enjoy your LOVED ONES today!! (and everyday of course :)-  But ESPECIALLY ToDay!

Little Miss Isabella is home from church with me today with a cough and little fever but we plan to enjoy the day regardless and they've already opened there {LOVE} gifts and we are going to have a FUN day together!

This is also another special day for us:

Lance and I MET on Valentine's Day!  Can you believe it?  We were set up on a blind date on Valentine's Day!  I had a crush on someone else at the time (lol...) and he had dated a girl a couple times that wasn't serious, so our best friends set us up and we all went on a double date after church that night!

So Happy Anniversary Babe!  Can you believe it's been 22 years TODAY!?!  That's over half of my life I've known you... Wow, time goes by soooo fast...  Love you more then ever Lance!

I've been busy this week working on some things and haven't been on here much... I will share more details next week...

BUT, I wanted to show you one thing that is kind of HUGE for me:

I bought some artist papers in canvas, acrylic and watercolor.  I decided to tear them out of the paper pads and bind them with the Zutter and then made this as the cover...

A much needed WORK day...

Just wanted to jump on here real quick and let you know I will be working hard today and trying hard NOT to be on the computer!  lol.. We all know how much our computers draw us in for far too long...  I'll admit it, I work a little...come check my emails...work a little...come check Facebook...work a little....reply to emails...work a little...look at things to buy for the kits... 

You get the point... So today I have to finish a project for a class I'm teaching at Paper Tales on March 12th and need to bring to them tomorrow!  So my head is down, I will stay away from the computer (at least while the kids are at school) and I will finish the task at hand!

Oh, check out what my hubby brought me home last night:

Just out of the blue...  Rebecca saw them and said "Why didn't you wait until Valentine's Day?"  and he said:

"Because they're just for my Bride"   *big grin*

So this morning I took a picture of them in my pitcher (I want to go outside and get some greenery to put in with the roses)  and with a little heart I made on Super Bowl Sunday as well...  I have it on the kitchen counter for the whole family to enjoy:

It's a little blurry but it's a Clear Scraps heart that I put a layer of Mica Flakes on the front, Alcohol Inked the back and then added some "Homespun Chic" (notice the File Clip holds it up) and a few things I picked up at Michaels...

Well have a GREAT day everyone!  I'm praying for a VERY productive day!  Oh, I'm also going to be mailing out the Kit Sale boxes today!!  (not the class kits yet, those will go out once I have the Glimmer mist shipped to me)

If you can keep Ella in your prayers that would be great!  Ty said today they found out she has a mild case of RSV and is NOT a very happy baby...  Just pray that she can breathe better and get some sleep so she can heal.

Love, Tuesday...

Love is in the air!  Don't you just love this time before Valentine's Day with kids?  My girls are busy making cards, decorating bags and making a shoebox into a Valentine's "mailbox" for their school parties!  They get so excited for this and even Victoria misses the parties she used to have in the younger grades...

I did a little shopping today at Target and Michaels and have a little party of our own planned for this weekend!  (Victoria will NOT feel left out :)-

I am feeling much better today and glad for it!  I was sooo hoping my cold wouldn't go into my chest and it seems like it hasn't so that's a blessing for sure!  Rebecca and Isabella are still on their antibiotics from last weeks Bronchitis and Sinus Infections...  I know a LOT of people who are nursing sick families right now and I feel for ya!  With the kind of weather we are getting all around the globe, it's hard to stay healthy...  But, saying some prayers for all of you and thankful for prayers for us too!

Now for an actual LAYOUT I did!  As you most know, I'm usually working on some class project, a Clear Scraps project or altered thing...  So I don't have much time to work on my own 12x12 layouts/albums...

But I got a chance to on Super Bowl Sunday.  We were all home pretty sick and trying to have a nice relaxing day regardless...  So I decided to make a layout with some leftover scraps!  I really wanted to challenge myself a little and had an idea...

 
I can't remember if I told you that I helped out Heidi, the owner of  Scrap Within Reach by making some quick samples for her booth the night before CHA started...  Well, I made a banner (I'm trying to get a picture of both) and I punched out some circles out of this paper.  But, I loved this paper and saved some scraps and decided to distress the edges, add this border sticker at the bottom...

Then I backed it up with this charcoal grey paper from SWR...

And came up with this layout...  I used some vintage trim, vintage sheet music and book paper and a Clear Scraps heart that I embossed and inked!   This is my dear Rebecca at age 5, the same age Isabella is now!  And that's how far back I am on my OWN scrapbook albums...

I better go check on the girls... last I checked they were doing this:

 
 But I have a feeling there not doing their homework anymore...

Pre-Registration for my 1st Online Class!!

I'm running slow today because my body has finally sucummed to the sickness in the house.  I have a sinus infection and my head is throbbing, so I'm going to do the Flower Tutorial next week.  Sorry about that...

Wow, this has been quite the week!

I just got the news last night that I'm teaching at INSPIRED!!!

I still can't believe it... There is soooo much talent out there and I'm SUPER EXCITED and feel SO BLESSED that I get to be a part of this INSPIRATIONAL Event!!  Thanks Donna !

I had submitted an album to them a few months ago and they picked it up, but I forgot about it...

I'm flipping out right now!  My girls heard me scream and came running!  Seriously!  I have NEVER, EVER had any of my work on the COVER of ANYTHING!!!

I don't know when this book is coming out, if it's out or what?  Anybody know??  I would LOVE to see this in person!!  (They'll send me a copy, but not for a few months and no-one carries this magazine in my town)

CHA Update - Part 2

I think I am still recooperating from CHA... It really was a whirlwind of a show and I STILL am thinking about it, a week later!

There were SO many companies there that I LOVE!  Having a kit club really is so much FUN because you get to pick and choose what you want in the kits and what companies you want to work with.  The only problem is that there are MORE companies and GREAT products out there then I have time to put into kits! 

One company that I've never had in my kits is Kaiser Craft .  Not because I don't LOVE them, because I DO!!! It's just that there are sooo many companies to choose from and quite frankly I didn't have a catalog of there's before and I forgot about them.  BUT... I will NOT forget about them again!  You HAVE to check out this LOAD of product they game me:

 

I have to say, this is the MOTHER LODE people!  And here's the story...

Norma and I were walking the show on Tuesday afternoon after I did all the webisodes and saw this at the Kaiser "make-n-take"

A FULL ON album!!  (it was a little different than this, but this is my take on it :)

So we saw 2 chairs empty and very happily sat down in them b/c our feet KILLED... Well, we didn't know it, but there Make-n-Take was by appointment only!  They are SOLD OUT on sunday for this!  We said o.k.  and were going to leave but she said we could sit there until the two people showed up.  Well, our tired feet said THANKS and we did...  5, 10 minutes passed and no people... So dear, dear Melissa Kennedy said WE COULD DO THE CLASS!!

Oh my, we were in heaven!  She then proceeds to give us a HUGE BAG of goodies with all of the items in the above picture!  We about dropped out chins on the floor!  lol...  We just couldn't believe out generous Kaiser Craft was!  So we made this adorable album that I am now going to use as my "A Kiss on the Chic" notebook for 2010!  THEN, Norma gets some CRAZY idea to see if she could get this:

They sell this and we saw it in their booth all decked out beautifully!  So Norma says she would do ANYTHING to get one!  Melissa says she only has 1 floor sample left and proceeds to go get it!  Oh my, Norma is getting giddy...  BUT WAIT...there's more...

I, yes I had to go WITH NORMA and RUN AROUND THE KAISER BOOTH SHOUTING AND DANCING AND RUNNING AND SAYING WE LOVE KAISER CRAFT!!

I can honestly say I don't get embarresed often, but I was NOT loving this...  AND, Norma's little legs (sorry Norma) wouldn't go very fast, so I'm really the DORK doing this!!!  And who gets the drawer??  NORMA!  Only one left...  So....NORMA, you owe me BIG TIME!  hehehe...  I told her NOT to make anything with it until I come up with a kit for it!  lol...

So, Melissa has such a GREAT time, (too great of a time) laughing at us making fools of ourself and had to get a picture with us:

So there ya go NORMA... You know I LOVE ya, if I would make a fool out of myself for ya!!!

The other company that went out of there way was October Afternoon.  If you've followed my blog, you know the issues I've had with them.  I won't go into detail but there haven't been the best at shipping things...  Well, there booth was right next to the Clear Scraps booth so the last day I went over there and took a look at all the new stuff.  I talked to a lady there (don't remember her name) and mentioned I LOVE there products but haven't had great success with getting them on time.  She did know of this problem and said they have a new guy that is REALLY working hard to correct that and win customers back.  I can understand how that is and how when you have an issue, even in Kit Clubs, it's hard for people to trust you again.  I'm really hoping they get this worked out because they do come up with great products and really have one of the best designed papers.  So they really deserve a second chance.   They were also very generous and gave me EVERY paper from their new lines!!  Take a look:

Oh, back to Norma a minute...

The first day of the show, after I met her, she wanted me to stop by the MLS booth b/c she had something for me!  And she sure did...

She made me these:

 
Well, she made YOU these... They are all shimmery and sparkly and BEAUTIFUL!  She made a TON of tags and I'm designing a KIT with these as my inspiration!!!  (Think Teresa Collins, Tattered Angels, and more) They are so pretty and we ALL need to say a BIG THANK YOU to Norma for thinking of us!!

Oh, before I forget... I wanted to open up the Homespun Chic album and share the YUMMINESS with you!  Take a look at the chipboard pages!  They are all tabbed and have about a 1" design on the edge of each page.  It also comes with all these embellishments!  Over 128 in the set!  I'm just in LOVE with this album and Melody Ross really did a GREAT job designing this line!  Oh, did I mention if you click on the Homespun link above, they are having a CONTEST AND DESIGN TEAM CALL!  My girl,   Heidi is running this call all this month and she's a GREAT girl and would be a HOOT to work with, so if you're interested, submit today!!

Did I show you this??  Can't remember but this was in the GCD booth to promote the Homespun Chic line!  It was sooo beautiful in there and I know they worked SO HARD to get this all together!  Oh, I also sat and did their make-n-take which was a necklace with their new CHIP ART tools by Melody!  I'll go find what I made and take a picture and share later this week.  REALLY CUTE stuff...

Monday at the show was a busy day!  I took the Donna Downey Canvas class with my dear friends, Elaine and Cindy!  They are the beautiful ladies who come over and help me with my kits!  So you can say a BIG THANK YOU to them for helping make the kits look so good!!

And my dear friend Rebecca Gawryl was there, helping Donna (she works to book all of Donna's classes around the U.S.)

She was working so hard!!  Thanks for being so GREAT Rebecca!  She also works at one of my FAV stores, scrapbook oasis in Irvine, where I've taught before and think I might be again soon!!  She used to work at a local store so I saw her all the time... now I miss seeing her and it was good to see her at the show!

Then I had to leave the class a little early to prepare for the CLEAR SCRAPS class that afternoon!  Susan was a little nervous to do this class and lost her voice almost right after I introduced her... But here she is trying her best:

I on the other hand have NO PROBLEM speaking loud and I think every one of the 52 ladies could hear me just fine! hehehe(maybe too good :)-  The microphone wasn't working and we didn't get the power point projector so we really had to wing it...  Sorry about that if you took the class.  I think we did a pretty GREAT job without those two things and it seems like just about EVERY person came by the booth after the class at some point!

But if you've taught a class before, you know there's always ONE PERSON that you remember... ONE PERSON that you may remember for a different reason every time, but that ONE PERSON was:

Jeanine.  She was a blast!  A Type personality, right in the front row... Boy, she sure dished it out and I dished it back!  We had some FUN!  So I had to take a picture with my new friend!

Here's a fellow Clear Scraps lady!  Elisa is a doll!  You may know her, she's got her talents spread all over CHA!  She was working in the Purple COW booth, the Clear Scraps booth and the Scrap Within Reach booth!  You go girl!!

Speaking of Scrap Within Reach... Heidi, the owner is friends with Susan, the owner of Clear Scraps and they actually shared a condo this CHA... Well, she needed a few more sample for her booth the night before the show started and so I offered to help.  I quickly went home that night and made a couple banners for her booth!  I brought them about 10 mintues before the show started and hopefully helped her out a little... Check out her new lines here !  I totally forgot to get the samples back and I didn't take any pictures either, so I'll have to see if Heidi can do that for me and I'll share those later...

Speaking of samples...

Clear Scraps is going to be in Portland this weekend for the Creating Keepsakes Show!  So if you're in the area, go check them out!  I just created 3 sample for there booth last night because they are working with a company called Viva Decor .  I had never heard of them and what's a total CRACK UP is, as I was JUST looking for a link for this post, I found the US website... You see, it's funny BECAUSE, this weekend, I was trying to look online for a tutorial on their products before I played with them and all I could find was in GERMAN!  So my hubby and kids where wondering what the heck I was listening too!!!  Oh well, I got the gyst of it..

Here's the 3 samples that will be at the show:

This 1st one is just a simple star I embossed with the Sizzix machine and the tiny dot folder.  Then I took the VIVA "GLASS EFFECTS" pen and filled in all the dots. (it didn't take as long as you think :)- 

This 2nd sample is using VIVA's "EMBOSSING CREAM" that comes in a jar.  I took a butterfly stencil, a spreading stick and just covered the stencil with the cream and took it off and let it dry!  Here's a close-up:

 
I LOVE the dimension it give the acrylic!!

The last sample is with a CS bird:

I really went to town on this lovely lady...

I used Irene Tan's idea of just embossing parts of the acrylic so I embossed, with a "script" folder, the top of the head, the stomach and the tail!  Then I used StazOn ink in brown to lightly enhance the embossing.  I also used the SIZZIX to die cut OUT a flower in the middle:

 
Can you see the flower cut out?  A little hard maybe... But then I used the VIVA "PEARL PAINT" pen and went around the edge of the cut out flower, the tail and the "wings":

O.k. hope you like those...

I'm going to be working on a CLASS PROJECT today for a class I'm teaching in ARIZONA!  Yes, I have BIG things going on in Arizona next month and I will spill more next week once I have all the details!  BUT... I'm going to be using the new "Homespun Chic" by Melody Ross for this class so if you're in the are, you won't want to miss this!!!

Oh, I also wanted to share a small SNEAK PEAK of the submission for Donna's INSPIRED event:

This is such a FUN idea I came up with... Not sure if it will be picked up yet.  I think we find out in a week or two...  But if not, I can always teach this online...

Speaking of that, my first ONLINE CLASS will not be until MARCH 15th.  Judy and I talked yesterday and we just feel it would be better to wait until March.  We've been sooo busy with CHA stuff and February is a short month.  I've about 3 projects I need to make ASAP for upcoming classes AND the March kits.  So, we will be announcing the class THIS SUNDAY! It will give you time to decide if you want to pre-register NEXT MONDAY and then I will have the CLASS KITS up for sale on THIS BLOG NEXT MONDAY as well!  She will be coming her to film it in a few weeks and we are going to try and film 2 classes that day so she doesn't have to come down her from L.A. so much...

So, exciting things going on here!  Stay tuned!

Sound fun??  It IS!  I used a 12x12 CS acrylic sheet to make this acrylic flower and leaf on the top!  (I had 2 leaves but lost one along the way after CHA...)

She is almost 10 months old!  Can you believe it? And Dawn just celebrated her birthday so here's one of the both of them:

I'm sooo in need of a Ella Fix right now!  I'm going to have to make a trip out this Summer to see them!  Hopefully Dawn will be able to come to CHA in Chicago with me!

Oh, I want to live closer to them!!  How can you be a REAL Auntie so far away??  Ty said on FB today that she climbed UP the stairs all on her own today!  (with daddy right behind her :)  She is going to be walking before a year for sure!  Good luck guys...

Well, there's a little update on some things.  I have some HUGE news I have to wait to share but once I can, I WILL!  It involves another way of "seeing" me at work...

Kit Club SALE and more CHA updates...

I'm working on getting all my inventory organized and putting a TON of it up on the Kit Sale page this week!

Just wanted to let you know I'm working hard on that and will be posting more info tomorrow in regards to the Kit Sale. 

Also, I got an update from Judith at Cropped and she will have the 1st of the CHA Diary up after midnight tonight!  I will let you know all about that tomorrow as well!

Oh and I JUST submitted my design project for Donna Downey's Inspired event in May so keep your fingers crossed!!
