Hello ladies.... We are in Paris' and have been enjoying our trip to Europe!!
Victoria and I had an AWESOME week together and Lance and the other girls arrived a couple days ago and we headed to Paris this morning. We are trying to get them acclimated to the time change, but it's taking some time for Isabella and Lance to adjust...
I'm sorry I haven't put up pictures here yet. I've posted every day on Facebook but that even took me a LONG time each day. I think I was up until 1am each night downloading, editing, putting my comments on each photo and then responding to peoples comments! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that part about staying connected... But I've just ran out of time to put something up here then. So I thought I would do a running photo log of my top FAV pictures from the week. Most of you are probably FB friends with me and may have already seen these, so bare with me if you have...
So here's our 1st week in Europe; Victoria and I in London:
The day at the Victoria & Albert Museum was lots of fun. I scoured the museum for anything on my ancestry and Victoria enjoyed the Fashion room and the special viewing of Grace Kelly's fashions!
Have to take one of these when your in London!
Victoria and I in front of the Serpentine Lake in the Italian Garden area of Hyde Park.
eating Haagen Dazs at the Theatre!! we saw "Love Never Dies".... I won't spoil the play for you, but I have decided I'm going to ignore this version and stick to watching "Phantom of the Opera" instead...
At the Portabello Road Market!!! YES, a highlight of my trip and I found LOTS of "FINDS" for the kit club here!!
My hubby and all the girls finally together! Recognize this gate from last years pictures? We found it back and the burger place next door!
Well, we just arrived in Paris today and went up to the top of the Arc de' Triumph (not as scary as I thought it would be mom ;) and then we went out for dinner and had Haagen Dazs at the 4 story one on the Champs Elysees and then walked ALL THE WAY BACK TO OUR HOTEL!! We're talking MILES.... We sure worked off the ice-cream because between walking up and down 6 stories of stairs at the hotel (tiny old elevator shakes), walking up and down about 600 stairs to the top of the Arc de' Triumph, and then walking back from there to our hotel room.... Ya, we are lean and mean today! hehehe.... And tomorrow we plan on doing a Fat Tire Bike Tour! Now I know why we America is one of the fattest Nations on earth... we don't WALK anywhere! We drive our cars EVERYWHERE!! People here are walking all the time, everywhere they need to go just about... So hopefully I can just enjoy the food here, have a little (or a lot) more then I would at home, and still come home in shape!! Sounds like a plan to me...
Well, I best get to bed so I will have energy tomorrow for the 5 hour bike ride!
I'm sorry I can't post here much, I don't have much internet now and it's costing a fortune to have it even now! I hope most of you are my friend on Facebook b/c you'd see hundreds of pictures there! So come join the fun there if you can!
Have a GREAT week and I will try to post again when we are in Bellagio, but it may be better to check Facebook.
