I didn't forget this week!  That's saying a LOT b/c I'm running around  like a chicken...  So much going on this week and needing to pack right now!  

If you've ordered one of the project kits this month, the instructions are on it's way to you via email.  Let me know if you didn't get it.  It's the first time I've done the instructions with my Mac and I'm about to through it out the window!  I really need to take some more classes on this computer or I'm going to be chucking it and going back to my PC.  Someone tell me how to print a picture on this thing?  I just wanted a different size and it decided I wanted it cropped to only PART of the photo??  so frustating...  I just wanted small pictures to put in  my Travel Journal!  I'm getting on a plane and wanted to work on my Europe Journal from this summer trip to Europe and thought it would be fun to work on it on the plane... (ya, I know.. no scissors or sharp objects...)

So, I've had a LOT of you give us suggestions on the places to visit in Europe next summer and they are all GREAT ideas!  We are still undecided and I can't focus on it until after I get back from DC.  I may be looking into some of the places suggested while I'm on this trip though so any other ideas are still greatly appreciated!

But, I need to pick a winner... So, for the European Cities RAK, the winner is:

Did I tell you why I'm going to DC??(  I'm gonna *toot* my DH's horn here...)  His company, that he started about 5 years ago, won a HUGE award!!  It was voted as one of the TOP FASTED GROWING COMPANIES IN AMERICA!!  Isn't that something!!??  I'm SO proud of my hubby, he works SO hard and has such a great work ethic!  The Lord has truly blessed his efforts and those of all his employees and we are SO grateful!!  

It's also our 21st Wedding Anniversary this week so we will be enjoying some FUN times in the Capitol!!  We're even eating dinner on Pennsylvania Avenue for our Anniversary!!  NO... Not the White House!  But, it's still pretty darn close to the White House ;)-  

Well, I better go pack and clean the guest bedroom.  (Another reason we are so blessed to be able to go on these trips is because we have such GREAT families that are willing to come watch our kids!)

Here's a layout I did of Victoria and I at Al Veluu in Tremezzo, Italy!  This is the restaurant on top of the hill that has AMAZING FOOD and AMAZING VIEWS!  I used all the Crate Paper goodies that will be in the upcoming October Project kit/class!!  

 
The top right flower is one I made by hand with some seem binding I got on Etsy. It was already "distressed"... I'm not sure what they did, but it was a wrinkly??  Maybe they washed it to give it that look, but I just made a flower with it and LOVE how it turned out and plan to buy some more of this yummy seam binding!! :)

Then, I wanted to share the "Make-n-Take" I put together for an Artistic Affair event this year.  It was just a random bag of goodies but I finally had a chance to play with it and thought I'd share what I did with it:

Now every Make-n-Take had a different word.  Mine just happened to have the word "Passion" in it.  But this was fun and easy to whip up and just a fun little something to hang in my craft room!   I just {Love} my friend Kim at Artistic Bliss  who puts on these AMAZING events!! One of these days I plan to attend one because they are OVER THE TOP FABULOUS!!!  Check out her blog and click on the links to the past events she's had.  You'll be hooked and want to sign up for one too!  (My goal is to teach at one some day, but that's just our little secret, ok... hehehe)

I've been a bad blogger...

Happy Monday.... Love, Tuesday.... they are all out the window this week!  I was gone this past weekend to Santa Barbara with my hubby's company "Summit club" weekend and came home to three sick girls.  It's been a crazy week and just totally spaced on my blog!  

I thought I'd quickly update you on a few things before I go off onto another trip!

The September kits are all mailed out EXCEPT the ones that ordered project kits.  I'm so so sorry but the albums were ordered a while ago and are still not here.  I've placed another call into Susan to see if they are on their way and will let you know asap.  

The October kits are getting GOOD...  I have some things, some things are on their way, and my European "finds" are anxiously waiting for everything to come together!  Again, these kits will be REVEALED October 9 at 7PM PST!  I will be posting some pictures when I get back from my next trip.  I will also be emailing my customers and asking those of you who want my "European Kit" to email me to be put on a "priority list".  I told you I only have 24 "European Kits"!

I have a few classes coming up!  The details will be coming soon but one will be with a Punky Sprouts album and the Crate Paper Restoration line!  I've VERY excited about this class and it's going to be a Fall theme.  It will be at a local store near me but I may be offering this as a project kit as well.

The other class with be at Paper Tales and a Christmas album class!  It will be based on my House album a did a while ago and showed a SNEAK of:

But will be perfect for you Holiday pictures!

So I'll get details to you when their all set.

So, we had a GREAT time last weekend and here's a few photos from Santa Barbara:

Jeep touring through the Santa Ynez wineries!  This first one was a Tuscan winery that was just GORGEOUS!!

So pretty and all kinds of perfect spots to sit and enjoy the beauty of this area.

Then, imagine tasting wine in this room with...

Oh yeah baby....  A wine and CUPCAKE pairing!!  Can we say YUM!!??  So, my new FAV winery is this place, even though I can't tell you what it's called! lol...  Do a google search for Santa Ynez wineries with cupcakes....

Stayed at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara, across from the ocean and it was SO nice!  A very beautiful and lush location!     

Then Lance took the sales people to an airport where they did REAL AIR COMBAT!!  Yes, in Italian training JETS!  Oh man, I was soooo worried, but they had the time of their lives and all made it through!  I wish i could show you but my computer doesn't want me to for some reason! ugh...

Anyways, had a GREAT time and enjoyed our last evening at the San Ysidro Ranch with a private dinner in this GORGEOUS room and patio area that I hear Oprah eats in!  It was SO beautiful, if i can get my photos to load, I'll share pictures later...

I'll leave you with this that I made yesterday while TRYING to clean my craft room!  :)-  I was cleaning out some past kits and came across the March kit and this cardboard that I had already distressed and painted.  So I just got some things from the kit and put this together.  

It's just random stuff I put together with a "distressed" look and now it's hanging on this cute hanger in my craft room and my rooms still dirty! lol...

What a GREAT Kit Sale on Saturday!  Thanks ladies!!

I'm mailing everything out on Wednesday (tomorrow) so if you needed anything else, get your order in TODAY!  I'm going on a little trip to this weekend and want to get it all out before I leave!  

As far as the October "European Kit"... It is gonna ROCK!  I'm still planning on REVEALING that on October 9 at 7pm PST!  This is going to have ALL the "finds" from Europe this Summer!  I've matched all those awesome items with BRAND NEW CHA goodies, so this is going to be one you DON'T want to miss!  I will only have 24 kits!!  That's because I just couldn't get more then that of the vintage and other finds in Europe!  

More will be coming on that kit soon...

But if you miss out on that kit, guess what?....

I'm going back NEXT SUMMER!  Ya, you're all probably shaking your head. She's going back for the 3rd summer in a row?  Well, the girls just haven't stopped talking about Bellagio, Italy since we left and in fact Isabella asked if she could go back to Bellagio for her birthday present! (next month ;)-  Well, that's not going to happen, but we did come up with a way to come up with the money for next Summer and Victoria did a big Power Point presentation for daddy and he said YES! And quite honestly I can't get Bellagio out of my mind either!  And we only have 2 full Summers with Victoria before she heads off to college and I'd rather spend my money on a trip with the girls then things for the house.  I guess we all caught the travel bug 7 years ago when we took a year off and traveled the world with the two oldest...

But... we don't know where else to go, so that's where YOU come in!

Love this "lil man" mini album from Clear Scraps!  I embossed the chipboard on this album and it has chip & clear pages.  It's all done and comes with a little package of embellishments to add with your photo's for extra FUN!!  Would make a GREAT gift!!

This was a fun little project I made!  A little tag album with fun mini embellishments!

This is actually a project from Creative Escape last year.  It's the Clear Scraps album that Heather Bailey created!  I added some other touches and it's ready for your pictures and journaling!!

There's SO much, I can't share it all now or I won't be ready for the REVEAL!!

Love, Tuesday...

The weather is changing and I LOVE it!!!

Here's what this weekend consisted of:

Wine country time!!  It was such a great weekend with perfect weather!  

Saturday we went to my parents to celebrate my birthday (yes, I'm a year older now :) and Rebecca's birthday, which is this Friday!  

 

We had a nice time with my parents!  The girls {love} grammie !!

Then on Sunday we went to one of our FAV restaurants in the wine country, Ponte Winery.  

It was warm out but the misters you see behind me were in full force and there was such a nice breeze, it was a perfect day to eat outside at a beautiful winery!

and this little one was having FUN for sure!  This is a dress I bought for her for Italy this summer and for some reason she never wore it there??  So good thing I got it out before summer's over here and it goes unused!!  (Think Ella will like this hand me down :)-

So then we were talking about how we live so close to the wineries and NEVER go.  So Victoria said she'd babysit (ya, there's a catch...tell ya that later)  and we went on Labor Day to about 4 wineries, a nice lunch together and even a movie!!  We had a GREAT time!

sorry, no pictures of Lance, he was the one taking the pictures and there was never a time to ask someone to take our picture b/c everyone was having too much fun wine tasting... hehehe..

And the girls got in some FUN tree climbing this weekend too!!  Check these monkeys out:

She seriously got in the tree by herself!!  It took her a while, but she managed it! (notice the J&W??  it's the cutest couple, Jeff & Whitney...he cuts our hair and she's a fellow scrapbooker :)-

They had so much fun, even though it was about 110 degrees outside!   

   

So then on Monday evening I cooked our FAV meal (Chicken Dijon) we had a GREAT dinner with some wine from the day's exploring and then we "ganged up" on daddy...

You see, getting back to the reason why Victoria WANTED to babysit while mom & dad had a GREAT time out is....

She was working on a Power Point!  For what you ask??

You see, my girls didn't believe us when we came home from this place two summers ago and told them I cried when I saw this place and cried when I had to leave b/c it was the most BEAUTIFUL, MAGICAL, HEAVENLY place on earth... until they cried when they saw it and cried when they left... (yup..crying right now too :)

It really has taken a hold of all our hearts.  The girls can't stop talking about this little tiny place.  The streets, the views, the food, the people, the music, EVERYTHING.  It's all they can talk about! (Isabella wants to go for her birthday in october, hehehe)  So they decided (with my help :) to figure out a way for us to go back this NEXT Summer.  What could we do?  How could we come up with the $$$... Well, we thought about it, thought about our expenses, ways to make money, etc... And...We not only came up with a way, we came up with a BIG way and Victoria "proposed" it to daddy last night!  

And he said...

YES!!!!

Still can't BELIEVE IT!! We are going to Bellagio, Italy next Summer!!!!  We're not going to go all over Europe like this Summer, it will be a much shorter trip, just Italy but we are FINE with that!  We are just so excited, I don't think the girls or I slept much last night just thinking about it!!  

But in the mean time... I'm getting ready for a KIT SALE this WEEKEND!!

Don't forget the Kit Sale will be LIVE on This Saturday, Sept. 11 at 7pm PST!!  I will have LOTS & LOTS of Grab Bag Kits for $5 and $10.  I'll also have TWO project kits!!
