Well, Tuesday is almost over...

but I thought I would share a COOL picture of my daughter at her Volleyball Banquet tonight.

 

Yes, that's The Brewer Boys!!  There were on the X Factor with Simon Cowell and they live here in our town!  The oldest went to school with Victoria and we've run into them a couple times since X Factor, but tonight they played at Wilson Creek Winery, where the banquet was!  Pretty cool, huh?  They were SO nice and chatted with Rebecca and her friend for a while.

No...I don't have any pictures of the volleball banquet itself... :)

So,

A BIG thing happend over the weekend... Victoria turned 18!

Yes, she's an "adult" now and we couldn't be PROUDER of her!  She's an amazing woman and I know the Lord has big plans for her life and I can't wait to see what the future holds for her.

Boy, did we had a very eventful weekend with this birthday girl!  We went to the ONE DIRECTION Concert on Friday night to start with!  I don't think I've heard that loud of a concert since maybe Backstreet Boys?? Here's some pics from the night.  Yes,  Isabella has 1 Direction "fever" too...

Forgot the earplugs... but what a FUN time for the girls! They're already talking about the World Tour in 2013 and wanting to buy tickets for that.

Then on Sunday,  we went to lunch in Newport Beach after church for her birthday with Grandma and did some shopping at Fashion Island. Here's some pictures from her birthday lunch with grammy:

And last but not least... Our version of the "Hatfields and McCoys" pose.

I just LOVE celebrating family time and special events!  Love that my girls are growing up and becoming such beautiful girls... on the inside most importantly!  

But, I need to take more pictures of my husband!  I was just looking at these photos and thinking that he's always there but never in the photo!  That's going to have to change... This summer I will make it a GOAL to take more photos with LANCE in the picture too!

So this is the 1st full week of SUMMER for our house.  We are only on DAY 2...and I'm already noticing a difference at home.  Maybe a bit more messy??  Oh my WORD.  Tonight I introduced Isabella to the trash compactor!  lol... I'm NOT kidding.  I told her it misses her and she needs to spend more time with it!  Seriously, that girl is a TRASH BOMB and she goes off every 10 seconds!!  Anyone else having this issue with the kids at home?

But we are on a mission to get in SHAPE before Italy, so we've started *again* on a loose weight FAST plan.   We're sticking with "God foods" only and no sugar and breads and we're walking every day.  Hopefully this will stick.  With all the year end school parites, bday parties, banquets it's been HARD but we are going to try our best for the next few weeks.

I also want to come up with my Summer "bucket list" and post it on here.  I've seen some other blogging friends do that and I think it's fun.  I want to make it fun and just try to go a bit "out of the box" on some new things to do.  So if any of you have any suggestions, I'd LOVE to hear them!

A new friend...

Going to fun events like the one Kim put together in May, A Tiffany Affaire, is SO inspiring on many different levels.  I was so honored to be one of the teachers, but I was also just honored to be a part of her amazing events!  She has a way of bringing together the most beautiful groups of PEOPLE.  I get caught up in my own little "world" so often that I don't take the time to look UP and see what other creative ladies are doing...  I wish I would take more time to follow other ladies blogs, communicate more with them, schedule lunch dates more often and just be available more...

Well that said, I can't get over how wonderful that event was and  how many AMAZING ladies I got to meet there.  ONE of those amazing ladies was Jeanne Oliver.  If you haven't "meet" her, you are in for a TREAT!  She is such a FUN, down to earth, kick in the pants girl.  :)  Go check out her blog link and you will ENJOY.  I'm telling you, that weekend was made extra special because I laughed SO much with this girl.  She just has a way of finding the "funny" in everything... and I LOVE that.
