Well, we've been back a week and I have to say that this year it has been tough adjusting back to life. Maybe it's because we were in Italy the longest this time? Maybe it's because we've made more friends over there this time. I don't know, but it's hard to leave a place as beautiful as Lake Como and not just want to stay there forever...
So today for "Love, Tuesday" I thought I would show you some pictures that make it easy to understand what I am loving this Tuesday... and every day for that matter. :)

The beautiful walkway to our apartments behind the hotel.

Enjoying the first night with a walk down by the waterfront after dinner and some gelato. The sun sets so late here that you loose track of time. I think this was almost 10pm but with the time change we were already adjusted and usually stay up until midnight with no problem while we're here. It's the adjustment coming back that is difficult.

An early morning walk by myself the first morning in Bellagio seems to be my thing. I wake up pretty early when everyone else is still sleeping and this time I walked the whole town and took some pictures of the early morning. It's so peaceful here.

I walked by my favorite "vista" in Bellagio on this walk and had to capture the early morning light and stillness.

Then is was out to the pool for the whole family. This was Father's Day so we had a total relaxing day by the pool and it ended up being the only day of the whole week that Lance DID relax. He had to WORK on vacation this time and it was quite a bummer for him the whole week. But at least he had Father's Day in his favorite spot.

That evening we headed out to Tremezzo and to Al Veluu. Our friends restaurant across the lake with our FAVORITE meal in the world!

And the best view on the lake as well. Amazing food, beautiful view and family...

Steak Al Veluu and Zucchini fresh from their garden. Miss you already...

The girls were having fun on the ferry ride back that night. Rebecca has grown up so much since just last summer here. So many people didn't even recognize her this time!

The next day we wanted to go over to Varenna for dinner. It's such a beautiful town with a gorgeous walkway on the lake. The architecture is such breathtaking everywhere you look.

They have little cafe's just dotted along the lakefront. Some with pizza, some just little cafe's and one of the cutest and stylish gelato shops EVER.

Now you might see why the girls like to go to this place.. :)

My tiny little gelato...

Varenna is just the perfect backdrop for taking photos too...

Our dinner that night was up these steps and more! You really do need to be in shape to live in this town!

Then we said goodbye to Varenna and headed back to our side of the lake.

Walking back from the ferry is a nice 5 minute walk through town and it's always nice to come back here at night and listen to the music in the hotel. We loved seeing Sasha again he's always so happy to see the girls too.

Another pool day and the weather was just perfect!

Sometimes we make our own lunch in the apartment but most of the time we have lunch by the pool. This was a very memorable day b/c I have ON TAPE, Lance saying he's like to bring the family back here every year!! Oh ya, you heard that right! He even said he could see us coming back here when the girls are married and have families... Ok, done deal.

Lunch at the pool is usually pizza and foccacia. I'm not a fan of the pizza here, I wish is was back to the normal thin crust pizza they used to make, but it's still a beautiful setting to have lunch!

The girls goofing off with the water. She's probably going to kill me for sharing :)-

The view from our lunch spot. Had a little fun editing this photo for Instagram...

Isabella LIVES in the pool when she is here. I live on one of those lounge chairs.

That night we headed over to Mennagio to visit some friends at their beautiful home. Lorenzo and Jenny are the cutest couple and so much fun to be around. We had some appetizers and drinks at their house and then they took us to the Mennagio Golf Club for dinner. The place was gorgeous and had such a great meal with friends!

Here's Lance and Lorenzo enjoying some guy time on the balcony of Lorenzo's home.

This is the gorgeous Golf Club where I guess George Clooney frequents quite often.

No, George wasn't there this night but this cute family was... :)

The next day Lance and I and Isabella headed to Bergamo for a few hours. It's about 1 1/2 away from Lake Como and Lance had never been. It's a big city but the old walled city is up on a big hill overlooking the rest of Bergamo and it's just goregous.

This church is in the main square and just beautiful inside.

The ceiling is just AMAZING. This is not just painted, but all of it is 3 dimensional! I just can't imagine how much time it took to do this whole ceiling because it was like this everywhere!

It was pretty quiet on this day and we were suprised that not a lot of people were here.

Love all the fountains in Italy.

So many beautiful buildings in this square.

I want to take this funicular some day. It goes from the lower part of Bergamo to this upper walled city.
Well I think I'm photo BOMBED my blog today! hahaha
I have thousands of photos from this trip and it's hard not to want to show ALL OF THEM. But I'll leave you with these for today. Maybe I'll do a monthly posting on Tuesdays of our Italy pictures. I still haven't even shown you all of the first week!
For pictures of the Creative Retreat, I'll be posting most of those over on my retreat blog: A Kiss on the Chic's Creative Retreat
Have a GREAT Tuesday! What are YOU loving today???
Hugs,
Laura
